Business Development Associate

Job Description 

The Business Development Associate is responsible for helping our company obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. Their duties include coordinating with company executives, networking with sales/marketing professionals, reviewing current market trends, and proposing new business ideas to increase revenue.


  • Identify and research potential clients and centers of influence (COI)
  • Develop and maintain client and COI relationships
  • Introduce potential clients to our Financial Advisory Team/ and or Retirement Plan Team
  • Coordinate with Financial Advisory/ Marketing Team to ensure appropriate client contract and proposal 
  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives


  • Prior business development experience necessary (5+ years)
  • Vast networking skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
  • Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
